Profile
Company historyDipl.-Ing. Bernhard Gruber and Dr. Heinz Petters were fascinated quite early by computers and programming. In January 1970 they developed their first timetabling program for schools on the mainframe computer IBM S/360. The programming language was assembler.
In 2010 Bernhard Gruber and Heinz Petters celebrated the 40th anniversary of their company and they look with delight into the past and into the future of their enterprise. Today 15 people work at Gruber & Petters in the departments development, sales, marketing, support and administration.
Portfolio Gruber & Petters offers its customers a broad portfolio: from the Untis product family to specific user support as well as regular workshops. On special requests we offer customized solutions, too. Around the pure timetabling solution we have developed several other useful tools in recent years. The Untis product family supports you in many areas of the school administration and helps at topics like lesson planning, substitution planning, break supervisions and teachers’ remuneration.
