Beginning with Untis 2011 the Multi-week Timetable module allows you to have the system allocate periods of a lesson automatically to various lesson groups. For example, four periods of a lesson may be scheduled in week A and none in week B, or two periods may be scheduled in both weeks. Timetable optimisation decides on the basis of prevailing circumstances (time requests, weighting etc.) which variant leads to a better outcome.
