Diagnosis

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The diagnosis function has been completely revised in Untis 2012. The areas of 'Input' and Timetable' have been separated and each given its own tab on the left of the window. The window now also has its own menu bar:

- Resize the window: The diagnosis window can now be adjusted to its optimum size in a similar manner to the master data and lessons windows.

- Refresh window: The contents of the diagnosis window can be refreshed.

- Filter: A filter row is displayed allowing the diagnostic items to be filtered in a similar manner to the function of the same name in the master data and lessons windows. The example in the figure lists only diagnostic items with at least one violation and where the weighting value is 2 or higher.

The right section of the diagnosis window contains an explanatory text to every single item. Clicking on the link 'Show affected windows' opens the windows relevant to the diagnostic item concerned.

Hide diagnostic items

The diagnosis window lists potential errors in input data or in the timetable. In some cases the input may be deliberate and should therefore no longer be displayed in the diagnosis window. In this case, right-click on the item in question in the list and select 'Ignore this flaw'. The item will then be marked with a white 'x' on a red background.

If you also select 'Do not show resolved flaws', violations marked in this way will no longer be displayed.
