Click on <Lock period> to lock the cursor-selected period (or to unlock an already locked period). Locked periods will not be moved by subsequent optimisation runs. Locked periods are markedin the lesson row of the scheduling dialogue and with an asterisk (*) in the element row.

 

 

 

You can also highlight an entire area in the scheduling dialogue and then click on <Lock period> to lock all the selected periods. The same function is available via the context menu accessible by clicking with the right mouse-button.
