Sometimes the feature described above is not desired e.g. Untis shall provide on several terminals views which shall be controlled by the administrator centrally.
In this case Untis offers the possibility to tick specific views with the mark "Public". So this view is available to all users and alterations are displayed to all users too.

Only users with the right "Administrator" can set or remove the tick "Public". Solely the setting which view is the standard view and which view shall be displayed in the menu is saved user-specific. I.e. every user can choose which view is opened by default by activating e.g. "Timetable | Classes".

Caution!
As soon as a view is marked "Public", all views of other users which bear the same name will be overwritten without enquiry.
When a user creates a new view and marks it "Public" it is available to all users. As soon as the tick is removed the view is available for private use to the user who has created this view as well as to the user who has removed the tick. The view is not displayed any more in the list of all views to all other users.
