The Info mode is a function of the module Info Timetable. This enables one user to first, display the typical Untis windows that communicate with each other and second, to allow the simultaneous viewing of teacher schedules class schedules and room schedules to other end-users. The end-users cannot perform changes.
This mode can be used with Untis MultiUser too. While, in the single-user version, you have to enter the path to the file in the command line, with MultiUser you have to enter school, school year and version separated with a ~ and a preceeding "DB".
Instead of
C:\Untis\Demo_Info.gpn,Info1
you find
DB~myschool1~2008-2009~1,Info1
This is the same notation as the one that you find in the list of the recently opened files (see picture).

Caution!
Some special characters like the slash in the schoolyear have to be replaced by a hyphen for technical reasons. We recommend to orient yourself on the list of recently opened files.
At the first start of Untis MultiUser in the Info mode, the program checks if there is a user respectively a user group with the name "Info". If not, then the user (without a password) and the user group are created automatically. Then the login of this user can take place at all Info terminals.
User as well as user group can be edited just like all other users and user groups.
Hint!
If the Info mode is used from the same user at more than one terminal then the logout of this user at one terminal does not affect the other terminals. To start the Info mode without the login dialogue please read chapter " Automatic Login ".
