Navigation:  Modules > MultiUser > Message system > Sending messages

To send a message to one or more users first go to "Modules | MultiUser | User messages". Then click in the dialogue "User messages" on the button <New> and enter the text that you want to send in the lower part of the dialogue.

 

 

 

All users that are registered in the database are displayed in the upper left corner of the dialogue. If one of these users is currently logged in, you can see in which set of data the user is working via the columns "School", "School year" and "Version".

 

Select the users who shall receive your message and click on the button <Add recipient>. Alternatively you can add users with a double click to the list of recipients.

 

 

Hint!

With pressed <Ctrl> key you can select more than one user.

 

 

 

 

If the message shall be sent to all users who are currently logged in then click on the button <Active users>. Now the list of recipients is extended by all users who are currently working in the set of data that you are logged in.

 

With a click on the button <Send> you start the process of sending the message.
