We assume that the teacher Snape is defined as a shared element of the two schools, Hogwarts and Death Eaters, as described in the previous chapter.

If one of the two schools schedules lessons for teacher Snape then this information will be displayed in Snape's teacher timetable in the other school.

Please note that in the school Death Eaters lessons were scheduled for periods two and three, whereas in Hogwarts periods 3-5 are displayed as occupied.

The reason for this are the different time grids tused by these two schools.

As you can see in the picture, the third period in the school Death Eaters lasts from 11.00 to 11.50. One period in Hogwarts lasts only 45 minutes so period three in Death Eaters takes place in parts of periods four and five in Hogwarts. Therefore, from the point of view of the scheduler in Hogwarts both periods, the fourth and the fifth are blocked.

If you activate "TT display in minute mode" on tab "Layout 2" in the timetable settings, Hogwarts can see precisely when teacher Snape is scheduled in Death Eaters.

The availabilities of external elements are visualised in the scheduling dialogue too.

Caution!

You can create many schools, school years and versions in the database. If Hogwarts is logged in version 1 then the information regarding the external elements of the school Death Eaters is retrieved as well from version 1. To guarantee correct functioning, all schools must work with the same version. We recommend that you always work with version 1.
