|
You can assign the user rights that are described below to the user groups by ticking the boxes.
| • | Create school / Create school year / Create version |
You need these three user rights to create new sets of data in the login dialogue (school, school year and version).
The user right "create version" you need in addition if you want to transfer a .gpn file to the database (via the menu item "File | Store in database") or if you want to transfer the data from one version to another.
| • | User administration |
This user right enables you to create and manage users and user groups.
The user administrator cannot assign the following rights: administrator, create school, create school year and create version!
| • | Administrator |
A group which has the right "administrator" has automatically the right "user administration". On the other hand, not every group with the right "user administraion" must necessarily have the right "administration".
This user right enables you to perform the following tasks:
| o | to assign the user right "administrator". |
| o | to assign the rights "create school", "create school year" and "create version" . |
| o | These rights are automatically assigned with the user right " administrator "; however, they can be removed again if desired. |
| o | Edit licence data. |
| o | Edit public views. |
| o | Create / edit external elements. |
| o | Merge data. |
| • | Optimisation |
This user right enables the following functions:
| o | Timetable optimisation. |
| o | Timetable optimisation in more than one term (provided you have the right to work in the selected terms). |
| o | Room optimisation. |
| o | Weighting settings. |
| o | Diagnosis. |
| o | Overall diagnosis. |
| o | CCC-Analysis. |
| o | Delete the timetable. |
| o | Edit break supervisions. |
| • |
This user right allows you to view and print statistics and reports.
| • | Data import/export |
This user right enables you to process all imports and exports, including the export to a .gpn file.
| • | Info-Timetable |
This user right enables you to process all functions related to the module Info-Timetable.
You can assign the levels "No Rights", "Read only", "Edit views" and "Edit" to the following user rights.

This right enables the user to view and edit the following data:

| o | The menu items in "Settings" |
Under "Settings | Miscellaneous" are items that are not stored in the database but on the local hard disc in the file "Untis.ini" (e.g. the path to the backup files).
These items are always - independent of your user rights - at your disposal.

| o | View and edit all data of the module cover planning (except absences) |

| o | View and edit absences |
| • | Course scheduling |
| o | This right enables the viewing and editing of the data in the modules "Student timetable" and "Course scheduling". |

| o | View and edit teacher assignment and reduction reasons |
