As Microsoft Access databases are stored in one single file (.mdb) we can maintain already existing support structures without any problems.
A zipped *.mdb database is approximately as big as a comparable .gpn file and thus not too big to be sent via E-mail.
Before you zip the .mdb file you can compress the database to reduce the size of the file. In order to do this, open the file gpUntis.mdb and go to the menu item " Tools | Database Utilities | Compact and Repair Database".
To transmit support data when using a MySQL or a MS SQL database, please make a backup with a database administration program and send this to your Untis partner.
