If and how a cancelled lesson shall be counted for a teacher depends primarily whether the reason of absence is marked as to be counted.
You can define reasons of absence via "Master Data | Reasons of Absence". Quite often the reasons of absence are already defined by the authority and in some cases they are created automatically in Untis. In the latter case they cannot be edited.
Example: Counting of substitutions

Illness: Do not tick any boxes. A cancellation with this reason shall not be counted negatively.
Special leave: Tick the box "Count cancellations". A cancellation with this reason shall be counted negatively to the substitution counter.
