You can adjust the substitution disdplay according to your needs. It will depend upon your individual working method and on the processes that you apply (edit substitutions, print substitutions).
You can show or hide every column via <Grid Adjustment>
. Below the contents of the individual columns are explained.

Hint: Show all fields with content
By clicking on the button <Show all fields with content>
in the toolbar of the substitution window, all columns that have at least one entry are displayed. With another click on this button you return to the original state of the window.
Subst. No.
With this number all substitutions can be identified unambiguously. This number is used predominantly within the program. You cannot hide this number on the screen; however, on the printout thisis possible.

This column shows the type of the substitution. More about this in chapter Type of substitution .
Date / Period
These fields show you the date and the period of the substitution.
(Subject), (Teacher), (Class(es)), (Room)
These fields show the elements of the original lesson. If the teacher is part of a coupling, it is indicated with an "*" in front of the name of the teacher.
Subject, Substitute, Class(es), Room
These fields show the elements of the substitution. If you leave the field "Subject" blank, then the originally scheduled subject is displayed in the substitution print.
Red question marks "???" in the columns "Substitute" and "Room" indicate that available teachers and rooms still have to be assigned. Three dashes "---" indicate a cancellation or a release.
Stat. Code(s)
In case a substitution shall not be counted, enter here the same flag that you have entered in "Modules | Cover Planning | Settings..." at "Don't count...". (See also chapter Substitution counter settings ).
Subst. from / (Te.) to
| • | If there is an entry only in the column "Subst, from" ("(Te.) to" is blank), then a lesson was shifted from another period. |
| • | If there is an entry only in the column "(Te.) to" ("Subst, from" is blank), then this field shows where the lesson was shifted to what created a substitution. |
| • | Both columns have identical content: This is a lesson swap. |
| • | The entries in these two columns are different: In this case the original lesson was shifted from this period and another one was shifted to this period. The column "Subst, from" again shows the original period of the substitute whereas the column "(Te.) to" shows where the lesson of the (Teacher) was shifted to. |
| • | The entry "Lesson Pool" in the column "(Te.) to" |

A substitute teacher cannot know anything about a substitution if he is not at school from the time the substitution was created until the time he has to hold the substitution (according to the timetable). In this case a tick appears in the column "Message" and the substitute teacher has to be informed separately (See also chapter Message ).
