If all data - time, students, teachers and rooms - is fixed then schedule an event with all the elements that take part in it. Thus you have all information that is needed for the cover planning. Additionally all changes are implemented in all statistics too. You can define how this event shall be counted for both, the teachers involved and the teachers released (see chapter Events and the substitution counter).
