You can change the room of a lesson in the scheduling dialogue.
Example: Room change
As an exception, the Maths lesson of the class 1a on Tuesday, third period, shall take place in the Gym.
| 1. | Open the file demo5.gpn and the scheduling dialogue and click in the class 1a on Tu-3. |
| 2. | Open the room allocation window via the button <Allocate/Delete this room> . |
| 3. | On the right side, the rooms that are not occupied are displayed. Select the room "Gym" and confirm with a click on the button <Allocate rm.>. Alternatively you can allocate this room with a double click. |
Example: Room swap
The Bio lesson in the class 1a on Monday, first period shall take place in the Gym. The class 4, which is scheduled to be in this room at this time shall move to the room of the class 1a, the room R1a.
| 1. | Open the file demo5.gpn and the scheduling dialogue and click in the class 1a on Mo-1. |
| 2. | In the details window, click into the field "Room" and enter "Gym". |
| 3. | Answer the query "Clash! Continue with the room entry?" with <Yes> and the query "Occupy the room more than once?" with <No>. |
| 4. | Switch to class 4 and enter in the details window the room R1a. Alternatively you can enter the short name in the substitution window or you can allocate the room via the room allocation window (see picture below). |
