Open the file demo5.gpn and the window group 3 (print for cover planning) via the toolbar of the window groups.
Hint: Window group
A window group is a freely chosen arrangement of windows that can be saved and opened again with a mouse click. It is used for specific operations like the printout of substitution lists (see chapter Window groups ).
In this window group you find two substitution views: the teachers' list and the students' list. These views display different contents and their layout is different.
Set the calendar to the first Saturday in the school year. There are already substitutions entered on this day.
Select the view "Print-Kla" and click on the button <Print Preview>
. This shows the following:
Example: Adjustment of the students' list
The printout shall be printed with space-saving headings. Additionally, the column "Substitute" shall be moved to the third position, the column "Type" shall be hidden and the column "Subject" shall be printed in boldface.
Change heading
To save space the heading shall be integrated into the table with the short name only. Click on the button <Settings>
of the substitution window and then tick "Small headers".
Move columns
The simplest method to move columns is to drag them to the desired spot with drag&drop.
Show and hide columns
Click on the button <Grid Adjustment>
. Via the column "Active" you can show or hide columns. Remove the tick in the line "Type".
Boldface
You can perform adjustments for the printout on the tab "Print". Period and subject shall be printed in boldface.
