The printout is sorted primarily by periods and secondarily by substitute teacher. You can see this under <Grid Adjustment>
in the column "Sort". Originally this was a list to edit open substitutions so the sorting by periods made sense. In many schools the teachers' list is sorted primarily by substitute teacher and secondarily by period.
In the column "Sort" enter 1 by "Substitute" and 2 by "Period".

Caution: Sorting
The order of the substitute teachers in the printout is the same as the order of the teachers in the master data. If you moved a teacher in the master date with drag&drop to the first postition then he will appear in the substitution list on the first position as well.
Hint: Sorting of the students' list
You could move the higher classes (with taller students) to the top either with drag&drop or via the button <AZ>
. If you have sorted the list by classes then the data of the taller students appears on top of the list and the data of the shorter students on the bottom of the list.
The order of the columns can be changed easily by moving it with drag&drop to the desired position in the substitution view. In our example, the column "Substitute" was shifted to the first position and the column "Period" to the second position.
Now the substitutions for an individual teacher are aggregated and this collection is sorted by period. If you want to display the releases (because of the absence of a class) too then activate under <Settings>
"'Strike through' cancel. teachers".

Now the list looks like this:
