Shifts, cancellations and swaps can be done in the timetable without the entry of an absence.
Shifts
You can shift periods with drag&drop. Empty, green fields indicate that a shift to this position is possible without a collision.
Purple, empty fields indicate that the shift is possible without a collsion, however, neither the scheduled room nor one of its alternative rooms is available.
If you move a lesson with drag&drop, this shift is displayed in the substitution window. In our example, the German lesson (DE) in class 3b was shifted from the first to the fifth period on Tuesday. The substitution window displays this shift on this day.
Hint: Shift a part of a coupling
If you want to shift only the lesson of a single teacher who is part in a coupling with several teachers then switch to the teacher's timetable and apply the shift there.
Swap periods
It is possible to swap periods with lessons whose background is green (green fields that are not empty). When the swap is applied, it is displayed in the substitution window.
Cancellations
To cancel a period drag it into the details part of the timetable window and drop it there (analogous to the timetable mode).
Hint: Undo changes
All changes can be undone by clicking on the button <Undo changes>
in the timetable window.
