This function enables you to split up substitutions so that two or more teachers can take over a lesson.
Example: Split up substitutions
On Wedneday, first period, Hugo teaches students of the classes 1a, 1b, 2a and 2b. One teacher shall substitute for the students of the classe 1a and 1b and another teacher shall substitute for the students of the classes 2a and 2b.
| 1. | Open the file demo5.gpn and mark Hugo absent on Wednesday, first period. |
| 2. | This creates one substitution line in the substitution window. Click on the button <Split up> to create a second, identical substitution line. |

| 3. | Now you can edit both substitution lines according to your wishes. E.g. you could delete the classes 2a and 2b in the first line and 1a and 1b in the second line from the field "Class(es)" |
| 4. | Find suitable substitutes with the teacher suggestion for the lessons of these classes. |

| 5. | Finally you can assign two different rooms via the room allocation window |
