Substitution: The lesson of an absent teacher is substituted by another teacher.
Supervision: If a teacher supervises - additionally to his own class - another class whose teacher is absent, then it is called a supervision.

Release: A teacher is available (released) because of the absence of a class that he would have to teach according to the regular timetable.
Room repl.: If a lesson is moved from the originally scheduled room to another room, it is called room replacement.
Shifted: In this case, the shift of a lesson created a substitution.
Shifting: This entry indicates that a lesson was shifted from another period (See also columns "Subst. from" and "(Te.) to" in the substitution window).
Spec. duties: A special duty is a spontaneous lesson which can be entered either in the scheduling dialogue or in the special duties window.
Part subst.: In a part substitution two or more teachers take over one lesson (See also chapter Splitting substitutions ).

Teacher-swap: A teacher swap occurs when a teacher is assigned a substitution in a period in which he would have to teach another class according to the regular timetable. As a result the original lesson of this teacher has to be covered.
Contrary to absence: In this case a teacher is assigned exceptionally a substitution although he is marked absent.

Event: This is an event which was entered in the events window.
Lesson of the lesson pool: If a lesson shall not be covered right now but it shall be caught up later in the school year then it can be stored in the lesson pool. You find detailed information in chapter Lesson pool .
Spec. duty for the lesson of LP: When a lesson from the lesson pool is scheduled in the daily timetable, it results in a special duty for the lesson of the lesson pool.
