You can activate and deactivate the module Cover planning by clicking on the button <Cover scheduling> in the main toolbar.

Besides the windows that you know already from the timetabling mode (e.g. master data, lessons) there are specific windows for the cover planning at your disposal.
The cover planning acts like an individual program within Untis:
| • | The screen settings are different in the Untis mode and in the substitution mode. When you are leaving the substitution mode, the original Untis windows will re-establish and vice versa. |
| • | There are different window groups at your disposal. The use of window groups is very comfortable especially in the substitution mode. We recommend that you create individual window groups for the planning of substitutions as well as for the printout of the lists (see chapter Window groups ). |
| • | The standard views can be different in the Untis mode and in the substitution mode. Usually small, space-saving timetables suffice in the substitution mode. |
| • | In the substitution mode you find a context menu at your disposal: With a right click you can navigate to the most immportant functions of the cover planning. |
You can exit the substitution mode by either clicking again on the button <Cover scheduling>
again or via the menu item "Modules | Cover Planning | Exit".
