You can assign a substitute teacher to an open substitution by entering the short name or by selecting a teacher from the pull-down menu. However, in doing so you do not have any information which teacher is the most suitable one.

 

 

The substitution suggestion is a help to find quickly a suitable substitute considering an array of different criteria. You find an example of the usage of the substitution suggestion in chapter Assign substitute teacher.
