Basic settings are made in the navigation menu under <Maintenance> | <Settings>.
First set the language that should be adopted as default for all users.
You should also set
| • | the session timeout. The session timeout specifies how long the period of inactivity will last before a user is automatically logged out of the system. |
| • | the number of lines to display per screen page before a new page begins, |
| • | the administrator's email address, |
| • | the timetable scheduler's email address, |
| • | the IP address of the mail server and, if necessary, |
| • | the authentication data for the SMTP server (SMTP user and SMTP password). |

Note:
Please note that you must enter a mail server in the "Mailserver" field. If you do not, entering mail addresses is pointless. Gruber & Petters does not provide a mail server.
If a teacher is assigned to the user, the welcome screen (after login) will display those lessons that the teacher in question still has to take on the relevant day (My next lessons).
You can set the option Display all lessons to display all lesson for the current day.
